Terms of use

Last updated: August 22, 2026

These terms cover the Plumo application and this website. Plumo Pro licenses are sold through an external merchant of record, who is named on the checkout page and is the party to your purchase contract: they handle the payment, the VAT and the invoice. The Plumo software itself is developed and licensed by Łukasz Zieliński (Poland) — the "developer" — who also provides support.

The license

Compatibility and updates

Plumo requires macOS 13 or newer and is tested against the versions of macOS current when a release is published. Support for a major macOS release that appears after your purchase is added through free updates whenever that is feasible — but a future version of your operating system is not part of what you buy today, any more than a version for another operating system would be.

Updates are free and delivered in the app. We fix defects and security issues in the version we sold you. If you choose not to install updates, we cannot answer for problems an update would have solved.

If we ever stop developing Plumo, your license stays valid and the last released version keeps working. We will say so openly rather than go quiet.

Your API keys and cloud costs

Cloud engines use API keys you obtain yourself from providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google. Those providers bill you directly for usage under their own terms. Plumo shows an estimate of this cost but the provider's invoice is authoritative; the developer is not a party to that relationship.

Acceptable use

Don't use Plumo to break the law, to violate a text's confidentiality obligations you are bound by, or to attack the app's licensing. That's it.

AI output

Plumo's corrections and translations are generated by AI models. They can be wrong, incomplete, or change the meaning of a text. The app always shows the result before it replaces anything; reviewing and accepting it is your decision and your responsibility, especially for important texts.

Warranty and liability

Plumo is provided "as is". Plumo edits text inside other applications on your instruction, and it shows you every result before applying it — so what gets replaced is your decision. Keep backups of work that matters to you.

To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including overwritten or lost text, lost work, lost profits, or interruption of your business. The developer's total liability is in any case limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for intentional harm or for death or personal injury — and nothing limits your statutory consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections of the consumer law of your country of residence.
